PLG (Pulse Laser Grinding)
PLG processing is a technology that shapes cutting tool edges using high-energy laser pulses. It is particularly effective for high-hardness materials like diamond and cBN, enabling the creation of high-quality tool edges at a lower cost than conventional methods. It can be used for sharpening diamond-coated tools and regrinding used tools.
Regrinding of used tools is also available through our online cutting-tool regrinding service “PLG再研磨” (Japanese).
